CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Mariah A. Islas, 22, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for driving while revoked.

Summonses

• Arthur L. Ivy, 34, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to obey school bus signals at South Sprigg and Locust streets.
• Kavinda N. Sooriya, 21, and Nipu R. Weerasuriya, 22, both of Cape Girardeau, were issued summonses for peace disturbance in the 900 block of North West End Boulevard.

Assault

• Assault was reported.

Burglary

• Burglary was reported at 625 Sylvan Lane.

Thefts

• A 2005 Aerolite camper was reported stolen at 2301 Bloomfield St.
• A purse, its contents, a bookbag and laptop were reported stolen.
• Shoes were reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Property damage

• Car tires were reported damaged at South Fountain and William streets.

Miscellaneous

• Identity theft was reported.
• A 23-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Charles A. Griffith, 46, of Oak Ridge was arrested at Interstate 55 and LaSalle Avenue on suspicion of driving while revoked and driving while suspended.
• David C. Snider, 41, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested on Lindsey Lane on suspicion of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
• Natasha M. Holweg, 38, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on Penney Street on Cape Girardeau warrants for stealing and improper registration and a Chaffee warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
• Jacob V. Vandeven, 39, of Whitewater was arrested on Penney Street on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance.
• Carrie A. Smith, 26, of Scott City was arrested on North Missouri Street on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for stealing.
• Gary L. Tallman Jr., 40, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on North Middle Street on body attachment, civil court order, Cape Girardeau County.
• Renee L. Brown, 46, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on North Kingshighway on suspicion of stealing and possession of marijuana.
