  • Auston T. May, 24, 509 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Two suspects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing.
  • A suspect was released pending formal charges of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

  • Lauren M. Story-Shumate, 29, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jerry Lynn Talley, 35, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for leash-law violation and city animal-license violation.
  • Emma M. Self, no age given, of Chaffee, Missouri, was issued a summons for following too closely at U.S. 61 and Marilyn Drive.
  • Mikayla B. Matlock, no age given, of McClure, Illinois, was issued a summons for running a red light at Independence Street and Sheridan Drive.

Thefts

  • A temporary Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 508 Cape Meadows Circle.
  • Theft was reported at 200 S. Farrar Drive and Kimberly Drive.
  • An iPhone was reported stolen at 449 S. Kingshighway.
  • Theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Minwax and copper wiring were reported stolen at Lowes, 3440 Lowes Drive.
  • Clothing was reported stolen at Victoria's Secret, 3049 William St.
  • Shoes, glasses and a figurine were reported stolen at 817 Illinois Ave.
  • Theft and fraudulent use of a credit device were reported.
