The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license and failure to yield.

Arrests

* Aaron Davis Jr., 46, 5 Village Drive, No. 4, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport.

* Christopher M. Gainwell, 21, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession.

* Michelle Kay Burmeister, 31, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.

* Edward Earl Sutton, 30, 1110 S. Ellis St., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to appear for failure to yield, no proof of insurance and unlawful use of a Dumpster.

* Jennifer Marie Renaud, 30, 1016 Village Lane, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

* Jerry Lee Curry, 46, 1305 Broadway, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a probation violation.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Cash was reported stolen at 2813 Whitener St.

* Top Metal Buyers, 622 S. Kingshighway, reported recyclable material and a white trailer stolen.

* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a drill stolen.

* A chain saw was reported stolen at 2200 Big Bend Road.

* Clothing, assorted jewelry and a P90X program was reported stolen at 225 O'Connell Drive.

Property damage

* A vehicle was reported scratched at 1242 Meadowbrook Lane.

Miscellaneous

* Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.

* A 32-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

* A 15-year-old boy was taken placed in protective custody.
