The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Natalisha A. Burrow, 36, 401 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for probation violation.
  • Jessy V. Eades, 20, homeless, was arrested at Independence and Louisiana streets on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for being a minor in possession and a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for being a minor in possession.
  • A 16-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of truancy.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and resisting or interfering with arrest.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of theft and resisting or interfering with arrest.

Summonses

  • Richard V. Davis-Boren, 33, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for drugs, prohibited acts and possession at Lexington Avenue and Old Sprigg Street Road.

Thefts

  • Theft of a purse, bag and contents and damage to a window were reported at 904 Themis St.
  • A license plate was reported stolen at 111 N. Clark Ave.

Property damage

  • Damage to a door and frame was reported at 2819 Whitener St.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported at 416 N. Frederick St.
  • Request for service was reported.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • A 38-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
