Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of marijuana possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

* Michael L. Strange, 41, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for driving while suspended.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.

* Taylor Brown, 18, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Samantha Morfin, 17, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Kwajalyn Houston, 22, of McBride, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* James T. Lang, 33, of Olmsted, Ill., was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for failure to appear.

* Joshua Frisbey, 28, 1932 Rock Creek Lane, was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear for expired plates.

Summonses

* Brandt D. Vanamburg, 114 Rivercrest Drive, was issued a summons for failure to drive within the traffic lanes, unlicensed vehicle and no insurance.

* Kathy E. Shipman, 55, 1410 Good Hope St., was issued a summons for having an animal at large.

* Mitchell Garlik, 20, 303 Themis St., was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Zachariah James, 35, 304 N. Middle St., was issued a summons for consuming alcohol while driving.

Assault

* An assault was reported.

Burglary

* Burglary, property damage and theft of firearms and jewelry were reported at 821 Themis St.

Property damage

* A a vehicle was reported damaged at 1710 N. Sprigg St.

* Jeffrey L. Davis, 42, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault, third-degree assault and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

* Thomas P. Smith, 34, of Anna, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and failure to signal.

* James A. Foote, 43, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of making a false report.

* Travis W. Shavers, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violations for violating an order of protection and third-degree assault.

* Dustin R. Everett, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and failure to register a motor vehicle.

* John M. Lesar, 24, of Millersville, Mo., was arrested on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear for bad checks.

* Devree Flint, 33, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no seat belt.

* Elizabeth M. Cole, 36, of Thebes, Ill., was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for insufficient funds.

* Clark J. Ridenoir, 52, of Puxico, Mo., was arrested on a Dexter, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for no license plates.

* Kenneth E. Williams, 49, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
