DWI

* Charles R. Mettlen, 50, 1640 Westwood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Leslie H. Allgood, no age given, 2541 Janet Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Jaurez F. Johnson, 22, 911 Hickory St., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked, a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for property damage and a District 14 warrant for probation violation.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance of up to 35 grams of marijuana.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while revoked and failing to maintain the right half of the roadway.

* Benny Savage, 47, 316 Independence St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for larceny.

* Sheraton M. Lockridge, 23, 324 N. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon and theft.

* Tiffany D. Holiday, 30, 1112 Linden St., was arrested on a Wright County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

* Mindi M. Mahan, 24, of Marmaduke, Ark., was arrested on an Arkansas warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance.

* Eric Dean Kent, 31, of Jonesboro, Ark., was arrested on a Craighead County, Ark., warrant for kidnapping, aggravated assault, terroristic threatening, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and theft, and a Green County, Ark., warrant for receiving stolen property and fleeing.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting/interfering with arrest.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

* Jeffery A. Whitis, 19, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on a Bollinger County, Mo., warrant for burglary.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting/interfering with arrest, driving while revoked and failure to illuminate license lamp.

* Kimberly N. Patton, no age given, 1523 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a warrant.

* Lisa A. Samonte, no age given, 1620 David St., was arrested on three warrants.

* Two juveniles were cited for possession of a controlled substance of up to 35 grams of marijuana.

Thefts

* Coca Cola, Pepsi Mid-America and Royal Crown Corp., 1120 N. Kingshighway, reported theft and property damage.

* Theft of fuel and a relay switch were reported at 921 Hackberry St.

* Charter Communications, 623 S. Silver Springs Road, reported theft of cable TV.

* Theft of money was reported at 2845 Themis St.

* Theft of a wallet was reported at 2 N. Main St.

* River City Coins and Jewelry, 713 Broadway, reported coins stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* Theft of medication was reported at 234 N. Lorimier St.

* Theft of an iPhone and bank card were reported at 1319 Bloomfield St.

* Ryder Integrated Logistics, 2010 Southern Expressway, reported the theft of a vehicle.

* A 14-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

* A 46-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported counterfeiting.

* Animal at large, animal license required and failure to maintain a vicious animal were reported.

* A 28-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Forgery was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.

* Jatonya L. Jones, 33, of Kennett, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and exceeding posted speed limit.

Arrests

* Billy D. Wyatt, 27, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for resisting arrest.

* Andora R. Kieninger, 32, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of resisting/interfering with arrest.

* Jennifer D. Kirkpatrick, 41, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for theft.

* August J. Scherer III, 27, of Dudley, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of a weapon.

* Grant M. King, 22, of Dexter, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, failure to signal and failure to register a motor vehicle.
