DWIs

* Joseph R. Bassa, 23, of St. Charles, Mo., received a summons for driving while intoxicated.

* Elizabeth A. Benson, 24, of Jackson received a summons for driving while intoxicated.

* Michael A. Esparza, 22, 49 N. Benton St., received a summons for driving while intoxicated and no headlights.

* Christopher M. Roberts, 37, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for driving while intoxicated and driving on a suspended license.

* Abbie M. Dixon, 19, of Springfield, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Rahale G. Tulu, 19, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Fred W. Brown, 56, 1821 Weissinger Lane, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for an ex parte violation.

* James V. Lindley, 27, of Glenallen, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for failure to yield.

* Tabitha M. Martin, 23, 1401 Bessie St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for failure to provide insurance.

* An 11-year-old boy was taken into custody on suspicion of behavior injurious to self or others.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.

* Paul A. Moore, 27, of Advance, Mo., was arrested on a Perry County warrant for probation violation.

* Alicia I. McKnight, 26, of Perryville Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear.

* Audra E. Littleton, 27, 1812 N. Main St., received a summons for placement of waste containers.

* Ricky L. Foulks, 40, 1101 S. Sprigg St., received a summons for failure to keep property free of litter.

* Karin A. Stacey, 43, 203 Hillvale Drive, received a summons for shoplifting.

* Paula L. Pearson, 26, 45 S. West End Blvd., received a summons for indecent exposure.

* Tabitha M. Martin, 23, 1401 Bessie St., received a summons for placement of waste containers.

* Kristen M. Stermon, 20, of St. Charles, Mo., received a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

* Erica M. Shepperd, 19, of O'Fallon, Mo., received a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

* An assault was reported.

Burglaries

* A burglary and the theft of a DVD player, laptop computer and television were reported at 1744 Luce St.

* A burglary and theft of an Xbox were reported at 2813 Whitener St.

Thefts

* Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 35 Doctor's Park.

* A 16-year-old was taken into custody for stealing.

Property damage

* Damage to panels was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.

* Damage to a door was reported at 3208 Themis St.

* Damage to a vehicle tire was reported at 624 Boxwood Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Tampering with the property of another was reported at 3440 Lowes Drive.

* An animal bite was reported at 3065 William St.

* A 35-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 21-year-old woman and a 60-year-old woman were released pending review of endangering the welfare of a child.

Southeast Missouri State University

The Department of Public Safety released the following item. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

* Brett A. Howell, 29, of Scott City received a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while suspended/revoked, failure to provide proof of insurance and operating an unlicensed vehicle.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

* Steven A. Cook, 39, of Whitewater, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.

Arrests

* Kerry G. Maurer, 30, of Arnold, Mo., was arrested on two Arnold, Mo., warrants for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

* Marshall Brown, 50, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Freddy W. Hattenhauer, 17, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of being a visibly intoxicated minor.

* Christopher L. Reed, 17, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of being a visibly intoxicated minor.

* Quade V. Townsend, 18, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of being a visibly intoxicated minor.

* Micheal C. Cobb, 42, of Chester, Ill., was arrested on a Morgan County warrant for failure to appear.
