The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.
* Timothy A. Siars, 24, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in a single lane.
* Omar Doreal Ware, 27, homeless, was arrested on suspicion of robbery, assault, felonious restraint, resisting arrest and armed criminal action.
* Michael S. Payne, 32, 1425 Cousin St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for felony driving while revoked.
* Jerry L. Petty, 70, of Gilmore, Ark., was arrested on a Branson, Mo., warrant for shoplifting.
* Victoria A. Thomas, 20, 1132 N. Frederick St., was issued a summons for shoplifting at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.
* Shawn L. Owens, 23, 1832 Margaret St., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop at a stop sign.
* Macy's, 3049 William St., reported shoplifting.
* Save A Lot, 121 S. Sprigg St., reported shoplifting.
* Denny's, 151 West Drive, reported stealing from a building.
* Theft of tools and plumbing parts was reported at 606 Boxwood Drive.
* A vehicle was reported damaged on Bellevue Street.
* Domestic assault and felonious restraint were reported.
* A 27-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* Child abuse was reported.
* Harassment was reported.
* Two 23-year-old men were taken into protective custody.
* Harassment was reported.
* Aaron's Sales and Leasing, 342 S. Kingshighway, reported a failure to return a rented bedroom group.
The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following items.
* Christopher A. Luebbers, 24, 1739 Old Sprigg Street Road, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.
* Assault was reported at Myers Hall.
