The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, visibly intoxicated minor, driving while revoked and driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Faisal A. Mohammad, 22, 654 S. Sprigg St., was arrested at South Silver Springs Road and William Street on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of tampering with a motor vehicle at 829 North St.
  • Levi Savage, 53, 1527 Water St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Jacob A. Dush, 24, of Jackson was arrested at Route W and Lexington Avenue on a Bollinger County, Missouri, warrant for speeding.
  • Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of failure to register a motor vehicle, driving while revoked and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
  • Allen L. Slatton, 45, of Jackson was arrested at 401 Independence St. on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • Joshua A. Cowsert, 27, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, was arrested at 401 Independence St. on two Cape Girardeau warrants for improper registration and no insurance.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

Summons

  • Diana R. Liley, 40, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Assault

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • Shoplifting was reported at Rhodes, 10 West End Blvd.
  • Tools were reported stolen at 320 N. Middle St.
  • An iPhone 7 was reported stolen at 207 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

  • Request for service was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
