DWI

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Penny M. Coleman, 39, 1145 South Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.

* Avery C. Whitney, 21, 646 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* Paul Christian, 22, of Dexter, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

* Timothy D. Bell, 24, of Bellafontaine, Mo., was arrested on a warrant.

Summonses

* William H. McCord, 19, of Steele., Mo., was issued a summons for shoplifting at Macy's, 3049 William St.

* Queen E. Payne, 46, 408 S. Hanover St., was issued a summons for failure to keep private property free of litter.

* Charlene L. Pieper, 65, 324 William St. rear, was issued a summons for animal leash law required and animal city license required.

* Jack E. Clark, 19, and Dylan W. Statler, 19, of 1446 Rose St., were issued summonses for a nuisance party.

* Patrick C. Rayford, no age given, 429 N. Frederick St., was issued a summons for stealing.

* Seanglea Johnson, 2834 Whitener St., Apt. 2, was issued a summons for following too close.

* Phillip D. Cooper, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to register motor vehicle.

* Randy D. Norris, 50, of Patton, Mo., was arrested on a Missouri State Highway Patrol warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm.

* Virginia S. Hadley, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for stealing.

* Steven L. Jackson, 19, of Jackson was arrested for two Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation for driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and for probation violation for receiving stolen property.
