The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Vidalia Leigh Mace, 18, of Dexter, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of theft at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of theft at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • Thirman David White II, 42, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of theft at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Jacob A. Smith, 21, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for speeding.
  • Jennifer Rose Sampson, 42, 13 N. Fountain St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for a suspended operator's license and striking a legally parked vehicle and on an East Prairie, Missouri, warrant for probation violation.
  • Maurice Lamar Bland, 23, 413 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for probation violation.
  • Stacy Wayne Dawson, 39, of Thebes, Illinois, was arrested on a Scott County, Missouri, warrant for child neglect.
  • Tori Rochelle Carlisle, 37, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Miner, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.
  • Jeremy Bradley Pearson, 41, of Jackson was arrested on a St. Louis warrant for probation violation.
  • Jimmy Charles White, 54, 1146 S. Kingshighway, was arrested on suspicion of theft.
  • Stephen D. Flye, no age given, 903 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on suspicion of theft.
  • Suspects were in custody pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of counterfeiting, displaying the motor vehicle plates of another, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving with a revoked license and careless and imprudent driving.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of theft.

Summonses

  • Shannon H. Duggan, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.
  • Michael B. Hilderbrand, 25, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Douglas C. Wade, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for leaving the scene of an accident and not having proof of insurance.

Assault

  • Domestic assault was reported.

  • Money was reported stolen at 1620 N. Kingshighway.
  • Theft and damage to a motor vehicle were reported at 1303 Jefferson St.
  • A CD player was reported stolen at 514 N. Fountain St.
  • A purse and its contents were reported stolen at 2011 N. Kingshighway.
  • A handbag and its contents were reported stolen at 250 S. Silver Springs Road and Bloomfield Road.
  • Forgery and theft were reported at 2518 Lynwood Drive.

Burglary

  • Burglary and the theft of a television were reported at 6 Village Drive.

Property damage

  • A windshield was reported broken out at 1203 S. Sprigg St.
  • A door was reported damaged at 1116 Cousin Drive.
  • A soft-top cover was reported damaged at 650 S. Spring Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • Forgery was reported at 2100 William St.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
