Arrests
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Eric R. Jeffers, 24, 3022 Mimosa Drive, No. 8, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.
Burglaries
* Burglary and theft of copper plumbing pipe were reported at 1115 S. Ellis St.
* Burglary and theft of a television and money were reported at 1608 Dunklin St.
* Dollar General Store, 724 Broadway, reported theft.
* A gift card was reported stolen at 232 Shirley Drive.
* An ex-parte violation was reported.
* A curfew violation was reported.

* John W. Pletka, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Daniel R. Kellett, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Jared W. Miller Jr., 25, of Burfordville was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for driving while intoxicated.
* Shane M. Haselbusch, 19, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and theft of a firearm.
* Michael H. Smith Jr., 34, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
* Ronnielle L. Rice, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a St. Clair County, Ill., warrant for probation violation for suspected murder and unlawful use of a weapon.
* David E. Steinbert, 43, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Fredericktown, Mo., warrant for peace disturbance.
* Thomas C. Dobbs, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of theft of a controlled substance and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.
