The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Savannah M. McDowell, 17, of Burfordville and a 16-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of stealing cosmetics at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
- Raymond C. Jackson, 44, 423 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Jackson County, Missouri, warrant for probation violation.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
Summonses
- Douglas C. Wade, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for not having insurance and leaving the scene of an accident.
- Jessica L. Sagers, 30, of Chaffee, Missouri, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Nearly Perfect Shoes, 209 S. Kingshighway.
- Connie S. Anderson, no age given, of Farmington, Missouri, was issued a summons for failing to stop for a steady red light during a three-car motor-vehicle accident at Route K and Mount Auburn Road.
- Kedeisha L. Merkler, 19, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
- Hayley M. Smith, no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for following too closely on Highway 74.
