The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Taylor M. Terry, 19, of Florissant, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing alcohol from Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Kenneth C. Jamieson, 39, of McClure, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of stealing shoes from Nearly Perfect Shoes, 209 S. Kingshighway.
• Lindsey S. Story, 33, 1483 County Road 206, was arrested on suspicion of theft at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Terry J. Roberts, 39, 505 Washington St., was arrested on suspicion of theft at Dollar General, 724 Broadway.

Summons

• Cole A. Davis, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for a nuisance party at 809 Perry Ave.

Assault

• Domestic assault was reported.
• Domestic assault was reported.

Theft

• A purse and its contents were reported stolen at 429 N. Broadview St.

Miscellaneous

• Forcible rape was reported.
• Marijuana was found.
• An unattended death was reported.
• A 48-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
• A 30-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
• A runaway juvenile was reported.
• Tampering with a motor vehicle was reported.
