The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Christopher D. Patton, 31, 3 Brenda Lane, was arrested on suspicion of violation of an order of protection.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing/tampering.

* Alonzo L. Morgan, 19, 715 S. Pacific St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for unlawful use of a weapon and peace disturbance; failure to appear for contempt of court for property damage; and failure to appear for contempt of court.

* Trevon D. Starnes, 18, 517 Amethyst St., was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for no insurance and no operator's license; and on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for possession of controlled substance and failure to appear for resisting arrest.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at Walmart, 3439 William St.

* Ezekiel N. Brooks, 22, 5 N. Main St., No. 2, was arrested on suspicion of property damage.

Summonses

* Jesse J. Schilligo, 24, of Defiance, Mo., and Kirk R. Menard, 22, of Wentzville, Mo., received summonses for indecent exposure.

* Terry P. Starnes II, 30, 1501 Whitener St., received a summons for trespassing.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

Robbery

* Robbery, kidnapping and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.

Burglary

* A burglary and the theft of a computer tower were reported.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* Smokers Outlet, 2116 William St., reported cigars stolen.

* Keg Shop, 1803 Independence St., reported alcohol stolen.

* Prescription drugs were reported stolen at 2525 Boutin Drive.

* Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

Property damage

* John's Pharmacy, 2001 Independence St., reported damage to a window.

Miscellaneous

* A 49-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Hindering prosecution was reported.

* Fraudulent use of credit/ debit device was reported at 35 S. Kingshighway.

Southeast Missouri State University

* Domestic assault was reported at New Hall.
