The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, driving with a revoked license and resisting arrest.

* Heather A. Hurt, 22, 1400 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Arrests

* Lydia Paige Menz, 21, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at TJ Maxx, 308 Siemers Drive.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

* Nathaniel I. Choate, 36, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of failure to return to confinement.

* A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing at Claire's Boutique, 3049 William St.

Summonses

* Jondre M. Grant, 17, 601 Minnesota Ave., received a summons for a peace disturbance.

Assaults

* An assault was reported at 820 N. Sprigg St.

Thefts

* A GPS unit was reported stolen from a vehicle at 1807 New Madrid St.

* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* A flat-screen TV, black tube TV, rings and other items were reported stolen at 1810 New Madrid St.

* Cash was reported stolen at 239 N. Middle St.

* Kidd's, 1325 Broadway, reported gasoline stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline.

* A TV and PlayStation were reported stolen at 412 S. Missouri St.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 608 Sycamore Circle.

Property damage

* A car door was reported scratched at 3019 William St.

Miscellaneous

* A 21-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Phone harassment was reported.
