The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Amy Jayne Rhymer, 21, of Anna, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Spencer Gifts, 3049 William St.

* Chimeca Donte Moore, 37, 326 S. Middle St., was arrested.

* Cameron Rae Pope, 22, 522 Amethyst St., was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

* Jennifer E. Burgess, 25, of Fredericktown, Mo., received a summons for shoplifting.

* Heather S. Pena, 21, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for shoplifting.

Thefts

* A debit card was reported stolen at 324 Hillview St.

Miscellaneous

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court for stealing and attempting to buy cigarettes.

* A suspect was taken into protective custody.

* A peace disturbance was reported at 3010 Aspen Drive.

Southeast Missouri State University

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety reported the following items.

Theft

* Food products were reported stolen at Chartwells.

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at Dearmont Hall.
