CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Sammy L. Cleaves Jr., 23, 701 Broadway, Apt. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance and on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

* Wade A. Moore, 44, 1104 William St., was arrested on suspicion of soliciting.

Burglary

* Burglary and the theft of passports, money, perfumes, a velvet box, piggy bank, laundry hamper and property damage were reported at 2018 Kenneth Drive.

Thefts

* Walmart, 3039 William St., reported shoplifting.

* A purse was reported stolen at 521 Caruthers St.

* A license plate was reported stolen at 3049 William St.

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 927 Bloomfield St.

* Miscellaneous items were reported stolen at 3112 Themis St.

* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

* Debit and credit cards were reported stolen at 1521 N. Henderson Ave.

* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

Property damage

* Damage to front tires and a peace disturbance were reported at 10 S. Plaza Way.

Miscellaneous

* An ex parte violation was reported.

* Tampering with a victim was reported.

* A 51-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
