The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Rheagan E. Butler, 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive within a single lane.

Arrests

  • Arthur M. Bryant, 31, 59 N. Park Drive, was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrant for obstruction of justice and failure to stop for an officer.
  • Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license, failure to drive within a single lane and driving while intoxicated.

Summonses

  • Drake A. Scott, 19, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Brandon E. Wright, 17, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance and failure to use headlights.
  • Adam J. Mouser, 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Michael L. Joyner, 60, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for property damage.

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault and use of a deadly weapon was reported at South Benton and Jefferson streets.

Thefts

  • A chain saw was reported stolen at Lowes, 3440 Lowes Drive.
  • A mountain bike was reported stolen at 2302 N. County Park.
  • Cash was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
  • A scooter was reported stolen at Washington and North Middle streets.
  • Prescription medication was reported stolen at 2136 William St.
  • Money was reported stolen at Themis and North Ellis streets.
  • A dress was reported stolen at 536 Middle St.
  • Money and a cellphone were reported stolen at 3439 William St.

Property damage

  • A front door was reported damaged at 136 Lorimier St.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 835 West End Blvd.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 633 Themis St.

Miscellaneous

  • Providing tobacco to a minor was reported.
  • Rape was reported.
