The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, assault on a law-enforcement officer, property damage, elder abuse and resisting arrest.
  • William D. Hall, 29, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for no insurance.
  • Robert W. Arnold, 25, of Essex, Missouri, was arrested at 11 S. Kingshighway on a Butler County, Missouri, warrant for probation violation.
  • Daniel P.H. Gause, 29, of Dexter, Missouri, was arrested at Sprigg Street and Jefferson Avenue on a Dexter warrant for assault.
  • Tammy Y. Smith, 42, of Pulaski, Illinois, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for speeding in a construction zone.
  • Samuel L. Preastly III, 41, 1518 Good Hope St., was arrested at 3463 Armstrong Drive on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for false declaration.
  • Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing plastic shipping totes from Dollar General, 64 S. Plaza Way.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

Summonses

  • Kelly R. Church, 41, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal leash law required.
  • Jonathan R. Cochran, 31, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for stealing plastic shipping totes from Dollar General, 724 Broadway.
  • Tony L. Criddle, 50, 1206 Big Bend Road, was issued a summons for prohibited acts or noises at 1206 Big Bend Road.
