The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Anthony Lashawn McGill, 27, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Sarah Beth Gill, 31, of Gordonville was arrested on suspicion of stealing a controlled substance.

Summons

* Kevin A. Jones, 27, of Morley, Mo., received a summons for shoplifting.

Assaults

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* BNSF Railway Co., 729 S. Fountain St., reported copper wire and fencing stolen.

* Walmart, 3439 William St., reported motor oil stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

* A debit card and cell phone were reported stolen at 820 N. Sprigg St.

* A credit card was reported stolen at 1015 S. Ellis St.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 639 S. Sprigg St.

* A door, frame and lock were reported damaged at 811 N. Spanish St.

* Air conditioning units were reported damaged at 1028 N. Kingshighway.
