The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Kelty James Lufcy, 32, 1630 Scott St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Edward Kent Crites, 37, 1900 Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Derrick Lamont James, 46, 126 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* A subject was in custody, pending the filing of formal charges, on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Brody Wilson Evans, 30, 1221 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Tara Dowdy, 18, 410 Marie St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing jewelry and an ashtray from Spencer Gifts, 3049 William St.

Summonses

* Chastity E. Ellison, 28, of Scott City, received a summons for a peace disturbance.

* Richard B. Jenkins, 31, of Scott City, received a summons for a peace disturbance.

Thefts

* Vehicle parts were reported stolen at 611 Mechaw Drive.

* A computer was reported stolen at 34 N. Park Ave.

Miscellaneous

* A 47-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
