The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items.

Summonses

• Caleb D. Sullivan, 22, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to drive with headlights on at Bloomfield Road and Kingshighway.
• Timothy O. Lorenz, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield at Benton and Independence streets.

Assault

• Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

• Burglary, theft of a laptop computer and firearm and damage to a window screen were reported at 43 N. Hanover St.
• Burglary and theft of a Playstation 2, television and DVD player were reported at 3002 Themis St.

Thefts

• Currency was reported stolen from Saint Francis Medical Center, 211 Saint Francis Drive.
• Knives were reported stolen from Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
• A Samsung tablet and a purse were reported stolen at 212 S. Lorimier St.
• Theft of money and property damage were reported at 1989 Silverthorne Trail.
• A cellphone was reported stolen at 335 N. Kingshighway.

Property damage

• Damage to a front windshield and rear spoiler was reported at 1629 Whitener St.

• Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
• Assistance to another agency was reported.
• A 29-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
