Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* James T. Loyd, 19, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
* Dolph D. Booth Jr., 24, 2839 Whitener St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and a peace disturbance.
* Demetrish T. Williams, 31, 2571 Lisa Drive, was arrested on a federal warrant for conspiracy to distribute marijuana and on suspicion of possession with the intent to distribute.
* A subject was in custody pending the filing of formal charges, distribution of marijuana.
* A subject was in custody pending the filing of formal charges, domestic assault and resisting arrest.
* Elizabeth F. Harris, 23, 908 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of a probation violation.
* Amanda M. Campbell, 27, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
* Alexander A. Parrow, 18, 1319 Bloomfield St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and resisting arrest.
* Derick D. Tucker, 27, 1015 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
* Melvin L. Stewart, 45, 707 Broadway, was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court.
Summonses
* Boyd L. Abbott, 52, 605 Locust St., received a summons for assault.
* Anthony D. Avery Jr., 19, of Berkeley, Mo., received a summons for soliciting private property.
* Kiron L. Starks, 22, of Omaha, Neb., received a summons for soliciting private property.
* Elizabeth F. Harris, 23, 908 S. Ellis St., received a summons for property damage.
Assaults
* An assault was reported.
* Domestic assault was reported.
* Third-degree assault was reported on Henry Street.
* Second-degree assault was reported at 1319 Bloomfield St.
* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
* A purse was reported stolen at 1527 Themis St., where a car window was also reported broken.
* The Buckle, 3049 William St., reported shoplifting.
Property damage
* A basement door and frame were reported damaged at 1008 S. Ellis St.
* A front door's glass was reported broken at 413 S. Ellis St.
* Property damage was reported at 505 Washington Ave.
Miscellaneous
* A 45-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* An animal bite, leash-law violation and license violation were reported.
* A 26-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A 48-year-old female was placed in protective custody.
* Tampering was reported at 633 Terry Lane.
Southeast Missouri State University
The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety reported the following items.
Theft
* A Hyundai Elantra was reported stolen from a campus parking lot.
