CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Kelly G. Overy, no age given, of Oak Ridge was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Tyrone Jones, no age or address given, was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest at 801 Good Hope St.
• A suspect was in custody pending charges of possession of a controlled substance at 724 Broadway.
• Stanley Johnson, no age or address given, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance or paraphernalia at 3007 Wisteria Drive.
• Tyler Clark, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to display plates, driving while revoked, no insurance and defective lights at West End Boulevard and New Madrid Street.
• A suspect from Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to display plates, driving while revoked, no insurance and defective lights at West End Boulevard and New Madrid Street.

Assaults

• First-degree assault with a gun was reported at 608 Boxwood Drive.
• Second-degree domestic assault was reported at 3013 Mimosa Drive.

Burglary

• Burglary and theft were reported at 1428 Jefferson Ave.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 2815 S. Sprigg St.
• Theft and fraudulent use of a credit card were reported at 921 Hackberry St.
• Theft was reported at Independence Street and Sheridan Drive.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at Hibbett Sporting Goods, 2136 William St.

Miscellaneous

• A juvenile was reported missing at 1200 Cousin St.
• Request for service was reported at 1701 Lacey St.
• A juvenile was reported missing at 550 N. Silver Springs Road.
