The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

Thefts

* Clothing was reported stolen.

* A 500-watt gas generator was reported stolen.

Miscellaneous

* Failure to transfer plates, failure to maintain financial responsibilities, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to stop for a steady red light, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and speeding were reported at North Kingshighway and Lexington Avenue.

* Damage to a window was reported at 416 N. Frederick St.

* A 50-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Peace disturbance was reported at 1003 Locust St.
