The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Matthew J.A. Stone, 25, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and possession of methadone and marijuana.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.

* Jordy W. Collins, 25, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a concealable firearm.

Summonses

* Morgan E. Kolaks, no age given, of St. Louis was issued a summons for failure to yield right of way.

* Larry J. Swan, 21, of Providence, R.I., was issued a summons for failure to keep property free of litter.

* Kathy J. Bartz, no age given, 1110 Perry Ave., was issued a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.

Burglaries

* Burglary and theft of tools were reported at SEMO Mudjackers, 1370 Brenda Kay Court.

* Burglary and unlawful use of a weapon were reported at 503 S. Benton St.

Thefts

* Sunglasses and clothing were reported stolen at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.

* Theft of a purse and damage to a vehicle window were reported at 414 Washington Ave.

* DVDs were reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A purse and contents were reported stolen at 1904 Bloomfield St.

* Medication was reported stolen at 816 Good Hope St.

* A desktop computer was reported stolen at Sam's Club, 232 Shirley Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Counterfeiting was reported.
