  • Benjamin L Hanley, 41, of Carterville, Illinois, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for speeding.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges in connection with domestic assault.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges in connection with domestic assault.
  • A juvenile was taken into custody for stealing at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.

Summonses

  • Corion D. Tate, no age given, of Florissant, Missouri, was issued a summons for striking the rear of a lawfully stopped vehicle.
  • Luigi G. Mastropierro, no age given, no address given, was issued a summons for following too closely.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • License plates were reported stolen at 510 N. Fountain St.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 715 North St.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Barbara A. Johnson, 57, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing a bad check.
  • Dewayne E. Bowling, 42, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
