CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and not having headlights.

Arrests

* Lerhonda J. Hecht, 50, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to obey a judge's order.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked and failure to signal.

* Emanuel T. Ware, 32, 908 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for no operator's license.

* Devin E. Smith, 24, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for peace disturbance.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, assault, theft, property damage and endangering the welfare of a child.

Thefts

* Damage to a vehicle window, mirror and ignition and the theft of CDs were reported at 502 Louis St.

* Jewelry was reported stolen at 1868 Lakeshore Drive.

* Hucks, 353 S. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

Miscellaneous

* Forgery was reported.

* Violation of an order of protection was reported.

* An 81-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A 47-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Illegal dumping on private property was reported at 1516 New Madrid St.

* Harassment was reported.
