CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Blake Garms, 24, 800 W. Rodney Drive., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
• Jeffery Morrison Jr., 24, 1409 Brookshire Road, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
• Lavan Johnson, 38, 60 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Scott County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon.

Summonses

• Brittney Rea, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for following too closely.
• Kayla Huffman, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.
• Angela Warrens, no age given, of St. Louis was issued a summons for failure to yield.
• Ja'liyah Thomas, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for following too closely.
• Shirley Beggs, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Assault

• Domestic assault/unlawful use of a weapon was reported.

Thefts

• A firearm was reported stolen at 1522 Bloomfield St.
• Clothing was reported stolen at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
• A bicycle was reported stolen at 1831 Oak Hills Drive.

Miscellaneous

• A juvenile girl was taken into protective custody.
• Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.
• Making a false report was reported.
