DWI

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, no insurance, failure to maintain a single lane and unlawful use of a weapon.

Arrests

* Elizabeth A. Noonan, 38, of Warner Robins, Ga., was arrested on suspicion of illegal use of solvents.

* Derrick L. Jones, 47, 129 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Denesha D. Walton, 23, 523 N. Fountain St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Joshua V. Moore, 23, 11 Village Drive, Apt. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance.

* Randy G. Lewis, 29, 3009 Mimosa Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.

* Darcell Moore, 24, 333 N. Pacific St., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for no operator's license, two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for no operator's license and no seat belt, two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for no proof of insurance, one Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court for prohibited acts of noise disturbance, two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for improper registration, and a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure for contempt of court for driving while license revoked.

* Angela D. Plassman, 35, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for parole violation.

* Shane L. Nall, 30, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for probation violation.

* Jeremy C. Jones, 22, of Dayton, Ky., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for stealing.

* Betty Sue L. Johnson, 29, 45 S. West End Blvd., No. 412, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Travis S. Turner, 30, 45 S. West End Blvd., No. 312 was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Christin R. Beard, 29, 510 N. Fountain St., was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts of noise, failure to show proof of insurance and no operator's license.

* Alexander Walker, 27, 1528 N. Water St., was arrested on a Union County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear.

Summons

* Matthew T. Butler, 27, 1222 N. Spanish St., was issued a summons for throwing rocks.

Assaults

* Assault was reported.

* Robbery and assault were reported at 1400 Broadway.

* Domestic assault and property damage were reported.

* Assault and armed criminal action were reported.

Rape

* Rape and burglary were reported.

Burglaries

* Burglary and theft of electronics was reported at 1110 S. Ranney Ave.

* A burglary and damage to a door were reported at 103 Clark Ave.

* Burglary and theft of a camera, television, a PlayStation, speakers, amplifiers, a car stereo, clothing and other items was reported at 225 O'Connell Drive.

Thefts

* Theft was reported.

* Roofing material was reported stolen at 536 Broadway.

* Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* Auto parts were reported stolen at 1726 Themis St.

* Radio Shack, 3049 William St., reported a scanner stolen.

* An air-conditioning compressor, bathtub and sections of scaffolding were reported stolen at 1810 New Madrid St.

* Rhodes, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

* A chain saw, harness and buckets were reported stolen at 520 S. Sprigg St.

* A check was reported stolen at 1700 Broadway.

* A 20-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

* Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported failure to return rental property.

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* Tampering was reported.

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* A 46-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Phillip A. Westrich, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on three Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation for driving while intoxicated.

* Brian D. Scherer, 34, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Scott County warrant for probation violation for driving under the influence.

* Joshua L. Steger, 22, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Penelope D. Newton, 42, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended, failure to stop for a stop sign and possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana.
