The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Cecil M. Jenkins, 45, 329 S. Sprigg St., Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
• Steven E. York, 46, homeless, was arrested on a Hohenwald, Tennessee, warrant for failure to appear.
• Henry L. Hawkins, 20, 919 N. Frederick St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
• David Sorenson, 20, 1519 William St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for excessive weed growth.
• Matthew C. Duncan, 29, 310 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a stop-sign violation.
• Lori A. Brown, 41, 1111 Giboney Ave., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear and on an Arnold, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear.
• April Brown, 20, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
• Christopher Niswonger, 26, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

• Kiersten D. LaMar, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for following too closely.
• Charles E. Swain, no age given, of Millersville was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle at Interstate 55 and Highway 74.

• Aaron R. Lake, 19, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
