The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Bill L. Johnson, 36, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no operator's license.
  • Nakita L. Anthony, 40, of Douglasville, Georgia, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for speeding.
  • Brice K. Allred, 20, of Malden, Missouri, was arrested on a Dunklin County, Missouri, warrant for aggravated assault.
  • Gregory M. Benn, 56, 1224 Marilyn Drive, was arrested on suspicion of assault while on school property and property damage.
  • Angel K. Reid, 24, 1700 New Madrid St., was arrested on a Dexter, Missouri, warrant for domestic assault.
  • Liya E. McDonald, 19, 2222 Melrose Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no insurance.
  • A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault on school property.
  • Megan F. Cissell, 18, of Scott City and Shelby M. Donaldson, 17, of 2502 Melrose Ave., were arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and improper/defective lights.
  • Two suspects were in custody pending formal charges of distribution of a controlled substance.

Assault

  • Assault on emergency personnel was reported

Thefts

  • A purse and its contents and damage to a passenger window were reported at 10 Rivercrest Drive.
  • Aluminum coils were reported stolen at Trane, 1078 Wolverine Lane.

Property damage

  • Keying of a vehicle was reported at 1932 Rock Creek Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • Request for service was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • A 33-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A 26-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A 38-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • Tampering with a victim was reported.
