Arrests

  • Byron D. Gardner, 27, 2847 Whitener St., was arrested on a Missouri Department of Corrections warrant for a parole violation.
  • Michael C. Criddle, no age given, 419 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for driving with a revoked license.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia.
  • A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of assault.

Summonses

  • Darren J. Svedsen, no age given, 728 N. Missouri St., was issued a summons for not having valid insurance.
  • Sierra C. Pruitt, no age given, of Cairo, Illinois, was issued a summons for failure to drive within a single lane.
  • Darian L. Lynch, no age given, of Benton, Missouri, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Jacob R. Aubuchon, no age given, of Imperial, Missouri, was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle
  • Travis A. Mann, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

  • A burglary and the theft of a laser, holster and firearm were reported at 1512 Clark Ave.
  • Burglary was reported at 1316 Good Hope St.

Thefts

  • Shoplifting was reported twice at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Wheels were reported stolen at 1927 N. Kingshighway.
  • A business sign was reported stolen at Race and DJ's Hair Studio, 705 Broadway.
  • Missouri driver's license was reported stolen.

Property damage

  • Soft top of a Jeep was reported damaged at 3248 William St.
  • A window screen was reported cut at 214 S. Pacific St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • Interference with custody was reported.
  • Child abuse was reported.
  • Peace disturbance was reported.
