The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault, assault of a law-enforcement officer, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and resisting or interfering with arrest.

Assaults

• Assault was reported at 2816 Themis St.
• Assault was reported at 36 Pind Wood Lane.
• Assault and armed criminal action were reported at 211 Saint Francis Drive.

Robbery

• Robbery, kidnapping, theft of a motor vehicle and armed criminal action were reported in the 1000 block of North Kingshighway.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 1720 Whitener St.
• Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 3021 Mimosa St.
• Theft was reported at 639 S. Spring Ave.
• Theft and fraudulent use of a credit or debit card were reported at 5 S. Henderson Ave.
• Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 2 N. Main St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 412 Sheridan Ave.
• Property damage was reported at Macy's, 3049 William St.
• A 55-year-old man was taken into protective custody in the 1600 block of Mississippi Street.
