Arrests

  • Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance at Morgan Oak and South Ellis streets.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance at Olive and North Middle streets.
  • Darius I. Love, 27, 107 N. Clark Ave., was arrested on a warrant at Good Hope and South Pacific streets.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Steven R. Sadler, 34, of Thebes, Illinois, was arrested on a warrant at Fairlane and Allendale drives.

Summonses

  • Zachary M. Graham, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for drug possession at Broadway and North Middle Street.
  • Jeremy M. Cranell, 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal leash law required at 910 S. Sprigg St.
  • Tyler S. Sprandel, 30, of Jackson was issued a summons for stealing a food item at 130 N. Main St.

Assaults

  • Assault was reported.
  • Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

  • Burglary and theft of a PlayStation, Galaxy Core Prime and Samsung tablet were reported at 1808 Hutson Drive.

Thefts

  • A white 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck was reported stolen at U-Haul, 740 S. Kingshighway.
  • Alcohol was reported stolen at Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St.
  • Food was reported stolen at Chinatown Buffet, 213 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

  • Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
