Arrests

  • Two suspects were were in custody for possession of a controlled substance, no vehicle registration, driving while license revoked/suspended and failure to show proof of insurance at 1829 N. Sprigg St.
  • A suspect was in custody for distribution and possession of drug parapharnalia at 1126 N. Sprigg St.

Assault

  • Rape, assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon were reported at the intersection of Water Street and Broadway.
  • An assault was reported at 1701 Lacey St.
  • An assault was reported in the 700 block of South Sprigg Street.

Thefts

  • Shoplifting was reported at Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway.
  • Theft was reported at 1439 Luce St.
  • Theft was reported at 832 S. Kingshighway.
  • Theft was reported at 36 N. Pindwood Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • A person was taken into protective custody at South Fountain Street and Highway 74.
  • A person was taken into protective custody at 3439 William St.
  • A violated ex parte order was reported in the 300 block of Barberry Street.
  • A rape was reported at the unit block of N. Main St.
  • Affray was reported at the intersection of South Sprigg Street and Southern Expressway.
  • An unlawful use of weapons was reported in the 10 block of South West End Boulevard.
  • A 27-year-old man was taken into protective custody in the 400 block of Bellevue Street.
