Cape Girardeau police report 10/10/11

Police reported the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A woman was taken into custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, no operator's license and stoplight violation.

Arrests

* A man was taken into custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon.

* Derrick K. Sander, 38, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of probation violation.

* Two subjects were taken into custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

* Gabriel D. Housman, 17, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol, operator license violation and not wearing a seat belt.

* Diane Simington, 60, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for trespassing.

Assault

* Assault was reported at 10 S. Spanish St.

* Assault was reported at 45 S. West End Blvd.

* Assault was reported at 1217 Jefferson Ave.

Theft

* Clothes, a purse and credit card were reported stolen at 2126 Independence St.

* Rhodes, 1624 Kingshighway, reported stolen gasoline.

* Theft was reported at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.

* Two bicycles were reported stolen at 1828 Lawanda Drive.

Property damage

* Super 8 Motel, 2011 N. Kingshighway, reported damaged bed sheets.

* A window was reported broken and a window frame was reported cracked at 2436 Myra Drive.

* Christ Episcopal Church, 38 N. Fountain St., reported damage to a holly bush and a basketball goal.

Miscellaneous

* Child abuse was reported.
