The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Michael Ray Turner, 29, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court.
* A 14-year-old boy was taken into custody pending charges of stealing.
Assaults
* Domestic assault was reported.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault of a law officer.
Thefts
* Discount Smoke Shop, 340 S. Sprigg St., reported cigarettes stolen.
* Cape County Transit Authority reported money and business cards stolen at the corner of Ellis Street and Jefferson Avenue.
* A purse was reported stolen and a car window damaged at 1824 Margaret St.
* A firearm and accessories, handcuffs, a flashlight, a knife and a duffle bag were reported stolen at 1812 Margaret St.
