The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A suspect was in custody pending charges of DWI/drug intoxication and endangering the welfare of a child.

Arrests

* Benjamin C. Orwig, 36, 3021 Mimosa Drive, Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, domestic assault, assault, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

* Rajae A. Fields, 21, 809 Ranney Ave., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked.

* Patrick A. Pehm, 29, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for property damage.

* A suspect was in custody pending charges of unlawful use of a weapon, attempt/distribute a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

* Jeffrey A. Hatton, 43, 902 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

* Christopher D. O'Kelly, 25, 209 S. Ellis St., Apt. B, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Assaults

* Assault and stalking were reported.

* An assault was reported.

Thefts

* A weight bench and dumbbells were reported stolen at 2439 Lynwood Drive.

* A cellphone, money and a briefcase were reported stolen at 314 N. Fountain St.

* A purse was reported stolen and a vehicle window broken at 1545 Greenbrier Drive.

* A flashlight and knife were reported stolen at 1807 Northbridge Drive.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 1629 Whitener St.

* Windows were broken in a vehicle and a purse was reported stolen at 2216 Melrose Ave.

* Rhodes, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

Burglary

* Burglary was reported at 745 Normal Ave.

* Burglary and theft of a laptop computer was reported at 601 N. Middle St.

Property damage

* A door was reported damaged at 1101 S. Sprigg St.

* A 39-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

* Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at Bloomfield and Hanover streets.

* A 40-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Harrassment was reported.

* Dairy Queen, 3168 William St., reported counterfeiting.

* A peace disturbance was reported.
