CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Justin Lanier Roberts, 28, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no operator's license.
• Henry Lamont Hawkins, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court for stealing.
• Christopher Shawn Niswonger, 26, of Scott City was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
• Carlotta Rene Diebold, 44, of Dexter, Missouri, was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for failure to appear and on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for no operator's license, speeding and no proof of insurance.
• Christopher C. Wampler, 37, of Arnold, Missouri, was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

Summons

• Ted Brian Walton, 29, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for assault and property damage.

Thefts

• Headphones, a bowl and clothing were reported stolen at 3439 William St.
• Money was reported stolen at 903 Bellevue St.
• Money was reported stolen.
• Liquor was reported stolen at 546 S. Sprigg St.
• Stealing was reported at 800 N. Kingshighway and North Cape Rock Drive.
• An air-conditioning unit was reported stolen at 401 S. Benton St.
• A door was reported damaged and a TV stolen at 1208 S. Ellis St.
• Tide Pods laundry detergent was reported stolen at 724 Broadway.

Assaults

• Domestic assault, assault and endangering the welfare of a child were reported.
• Assault was reported.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

Property damage

• An exterior door was reported damaged at 1607 Perryville Road.

Miscellaneous

• A dog bite was reported at 3034 Themis St.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of inhalants.
• A 67-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Brian A. Davis, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of marijuana distribution, delivery and manufacturing, producing a controlled substance or attempt to possess with in intent to distribute.
• Collin M. Taplin, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of marijuana distribution, delivery and manufacturing, producing a controlled substance or attempt to possess with intent distribute and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• Lisa M. Blair, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and failure to register a motor vehicle.
• Jennifer L. Knight, 43, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property.
• Donald L Hunsaker Sr., 49, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• Coralee D. Laymon, 21, of McClure, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
• John W. Newell Jr., 47, of Oak Ridge was arrested on suspicion of littering.
• Cheryl A. Whitmore, 47, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Madison County warrant for failure to appear for assault and trespassing and a Fredericktown, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana and shoplifting.
• Amy E. Seals, 23, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for burglary and theft.
