The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Edward C. Pierce, 33, 114 W. Mount Drive, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* John R. May Jr., 43, 604 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.

* Cristal L. Greenawalt, 38, 200 Estate Drive, Lot 166, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Walmart, 3439 William St.

* Thomas L. Ryan, 26, of Olive Branch, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

* Brichardii L. Lee, 19, 115 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

* Two boys, ages 10 and 12, were taken into custody on suspicion of stealing.

* Robert G. Hale, 52, of Thebes, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trespassing.

* Ryan L. Sterling, 26, 605 Bellevue St., was arrested on a warrant.

* Michael A. Stearns, 23, of Scott City was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

* Three subjects were in custody pending formal charges of trespassing.

Summons

* Dana R. Murphy, 28, 615 Washington Ave., No. 4, received a summons for property damage.

Assaults

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary* A burglary and the theft of a laptop, Xbox, Nintendo and styling iron were reported at 3208 Themis St.

Thefts

* Jasper's, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported gasoline stolen.

* Checks were reported stolen at 521 S. Middle St.

Property damage

* Damage to a vehicle mirror was reported at 20 N. Spanish St.

Miscellaneous

* Tampering with a witness and peace disturbance was reported.

* Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported failure to return rental property.

* Parental kidnapping was reported.
