Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWIs
* A subject was in custody, pending the filing of formal charges, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, assault and reckless driving.
* Rezese L. Putman III, 27, 3013 Mimosa Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, assault on a law enforcement officer and reckless driving.
Arrests
* Darcus Purl, 37, 301 Mill St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court and for failure to pay fine for traffic violations.
* David M. Tucker, 35, 206 S. Bellevue St., Jackson, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport.
Thefts
* A laptop computer, iPod nano and a wallet were reported stolen at 1005 N. Middle St.
* A vehicle was reported stolen at 117 N. Ellis St.
* A wallet was reported stolen at 4 Village Drive.
* Money was reported stolen at 1625 N. Kingshighway.
Miscellaneous
* A peace disturbance was reported at 338 East Cape Rock Drive.
* Attempted identity theft was reported.
* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court for being beyond parental control.
* A 51-year-old women was placed in protective custody.
* Truancy was reported.
* Failure to return to confinement was reported.
