The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Dewayne E. Sweary, 46, 533 County Road 325, was arrested on a Cole County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

* Tonia L. Williams, 31, 59 N. Park Ave., Apt. B, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for probation violations and was issued a summons for false declaration.

* Terra L. Bell, 23, 423 S. Benton St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear to maintain property free of litter.

Summonses

* Guadalupe Vargas, no age given, of St. Louis was issued a summons for failing to yield.

* Kathryn C. Vance, no age given, 3120 Independence St., was issued a summons for failing to yield.

* Dennis K. Thiele, 56, 59 N. Park Ave., Apt. B, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Richard K. Kuntze, 60, 2011 Andrew St., was issued a summons for nuisance declared.

* Cody W. Davis, no age given, of Millersville was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Burglary

* Burglary and theft of a purse were reported.

Thefts

* Robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action were reported at 2023 Independence St.

* Medication was reported stolen at 123 N. Main St.

* Umpkins Beauty Supply, 415 Broadway, reported hair oil stolen.

DWI

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.

Property damage

* Damaged door latches were reported at 1215 S. Kingshighway.

* A damaged door and frame were reported at 520 N. Fountain St., No. 4.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

* Violation of an order of protection was reported.

* Forgery was reported at 1700 Broadway.

* Resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle were reported.
