The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Zachary J. Carpenter, 19, 45 S. West End Blvd., and Preston R. Hattenhauer, 18, of Jackson were arrested on suspicion of stealing, possession of burglary tools, being minors in possession of alcohol and tampering with a motor vehicle.

* Samantha R. Berryman, 20, 520 Fountain St., No. 3, was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of behavior injurious to self or others.

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing and behavior injurious to self or others.

Summonses

* Durk L. Graham, 21, and Alyssa D. Abbott, 21, both of 520 N. Fountain St., received summonses for a noise violation.

* Samantha D.M. Cruz Marcial, 26, 1209 Cousin St., received a summons for improper placement of waste.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

* A burglary and the theft of a computer, television, assorted DVDs, a scanner and other items were reported at 1830 Stoddard St.

* A burglary and the theft of a laptop were reported at 237 N. Ellis St.

* A burglary and damage to a door were reported at 1437 N. Water St.

Theft

* J.C. Penney, 3049 William St., reported a theft.

* AT&T, 2120 Big Bend Road, reported a cable wire stolen.

* Denny's, 161 West Drive, reported a meal stolen.

* An Xbox and game were reported stolen at 319 Park Drive.

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported gasoline stolen.

* Denny's, 161 West Drive, reported meals stolen.

* A television was reported stolen at 719 William St.

* A purse and tote were reported stolen at 1448 N. Kingshighway.

* A 10-speed bicycle was reported stolen at 829 Themis St.

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

Property damage

* Damage to a vehicle door was reported at 3110 Themis St.

* Damage to a vehicle window was reported at 1520 Whitener St.

* Damage to a pole was reported at Sherwood Drive and Weissinger Lane.

* Damage to a door and windows was reported at 722 N. Missouri St.

Miscellaneous

* A 42-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
