The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do no imply guilt.
* Gary L. Harris, 54, 1021 S. Ellis St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for traffic offenses.
* Hailey E. McElwain, 25, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
* Carol P. Rhodes, no age given, of Dexter, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of burglary, property damage and theft of cosmetics, medications, Blu-ray player and discs, iPhone and Otterbox, earrings and cash.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and property damage.
* Taquichea G. Moore, no age given, 22 N. Park Ave., was issued a summons for improper backing.
* Jack E. Owens, no age given, of South Haven, Miss., was issued a summons for following too close.
* Taylor M. Brinkley, 19, 6 Village Drive, and Crystal L. Dobbs, 36, 1915 Grandview Drive, were issued summonses for shoplifting at Depot City convenience store, 820 N. Sprigg St.
* Antoine E. King, 29, 806 Themis St., Apt. 7, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
* Victoria's Secret, 3049 William St., reported clothing stolen.
* Fred's Discount, 121 S. Sprigg St., reported a television stolen.
* Dirt Cheap, 420 S. Kingshighway, reported alcohol and beef jerky stolen.
* Robbery was reported at the intersection of South Sprigg and Morgan Oak streets.
* Burglary and damage to a window were reported at 909 Hackberry St.
* A vehicle was reported damaged at 602 Boxwood Drive.
* Ameren Missouri, 45 Minnesota Ave., reported damage to a chain-link fence.
* A vehicle was reported damaged at 408 Bellevue St.
* A vehicle was reported damaged at 749 S. Ellis St.
* A 26-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A 25-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
* Violation of an order of protection was reported at 3178 Blattner Drive.
* A 47-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
