The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain right half of roadway, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and careless and imprudent driving.
  • Casey Michael McDuffie, 43, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
  • Tyler Dale Alex Kelley, 20, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, no headlights and possession of intoxicants by a minor.

Arrests

  • Leslie Rene Smith, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a warrant.
  • A suspect was arrested on a warrant and was in custody pending formal charges.
  • Arielle L. Samonte, 17, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no operator's license.
  • Allen Michael Dirckson, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession by consumption.

  • Money and household supplies were reported stolen and property damage was reported at 45 S. West End Blvd.
  • A TomTom and assorted CDs were reported stolen at 1927 N. Kingshighway.
  • Money was reported stolen at 1624 N. Kingshighway.
  • Stealing and trespassing were reported.
  • Checks were reported stolen at 2835 Whitener St.
  • A jacket was reported stolen at 19 S. Kingshighway.

Burglaries

  • Burglary was reported at 1719 Fremont Drive.
  • A window was reported damaged at 2520 Maria Louise Lane.

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault, tampering and protective custody.

Miscellaneous

  • A $20 bill was reported as counterfeit at 449 S. Kingshighway.
  • A $20 bill was reported as counterfeit at 353 S. Kingshighway.
  • Counterfeiting was reported at 3168 William St.
  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • A violation of an order of protection was reported.
