The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Tristin Lynnette Ligons, 17, 121 East Rodney Drive, No. C3, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

* Brittany N. Kaufman, no age given, of Thebes, Ill., was issued a citation for failure to yield.

* Charles E. Barnes, no age given, 201 S. Forester Drive, was issued a summons for improper lane change.

* Angela Denise Johnson, 49, 612 Jefferson Ave., was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.

Burglaries

* Burglary and theft of a laptop computer, cellphone and money were reported.

* Burglary and damage to a door were reported at 450 N. Frederick St.

Robbery

* Robbery was reported.

Thefts

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 431 S. Louisiana Ave.

* A tablet computer was reported stolen at 412 S. Spring Ave.

* Theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Assault

* Sexual assault was reported.

Property damage

* Tire tracks in grass and trespassing were reported at 1140 S. Pacific St.

* Syrup in a gas tank was reported at 1 S. Kingshighway.

* A 33-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.

* Request for service was reported.

* An 82-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
