Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Charles J. Ortiz Jr., 32, 2524 Lynwood Drive, was on suspicion of peace disturbance and property damage.
* A 16-year-old was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of peace disturbance and property damage.
* Six people were arrested pending formal charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, tampering with a motor vehicle and distribution of a controlled substance.
* Delbert L. Banks, 49, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a warrant of commitment.
* James A. Dixon, 27, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau County warrants and a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear.
* Anthony M. Ramirez, 18, 905 Perry Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a seat-belt violation.
* Tricia Ann Roberts, 23, 710 Oak St., Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear in court for a nuisance violation.
Summonses
* Christine A. Crank-Lineberry, 33, 1418 Mary Ann St., was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.
* Cai Zhixiang, 50, 235 Hyde Park Drive, Jackson, was issued a summons for a fence/sign violation at 1750 N. Kingshighway.
Assault
* An assault and theft of cash were reported at 807 Perryville Road, Apt. C.
Thefts
* Theft of gasoline was reported at Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway.
* Theft of a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus was reported at 1022 N. Frederick St. The vehicle was later recovered.
* A rim/tire was reported stolen at 824 Bellevue St.
* A purse was reported stolen at 3439 William St.
* A wallet was reported stolen at 716 Broadway.
* Theft of gasoline was reported by Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway.
* A license plate was reported stolen at 3265 William St.
Burglaries
* A burglary and theft of a television and PlayStation were reported at 114 N. West End Blvd.
* A burglary and theft of medication were reported at 1236 Linden St.
Property damage
* A vehicle windshield was reported damaged at 419 S. Pacific St.
* A vehicle windshield was reported damaged at 17 S. Ellis St.
Miscellaneous
* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at 3952 Scenic Drive.
* A 30-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A violation of an order of protection was reported.
* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
* A 23-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* James A. Phillips, 39, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
Arrests
* David Vicory, 26, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Miner, Mo., warrant for failure to appear in court for speeding and failing to register a motor vehicle.
* Dale Koehler, 42, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of second degree assault.
* Ricky A. Robertson, 52, of Delta was arrested on a St. Louis County warrant for a probation violation for nonsupport.
* Charles E. Oats, 54, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear in court for not having insurance and for a window tint violation.
* David Ligons, 55, of Oak Ridge was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a law enforcement officer.
