The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Joseph M. Thiele, 24, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for suspended operator's license.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

* Two boys, ages 12 and 14, were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of peace disturbance and behavior injurious to self.

* Derek L. Dover, 31, 1125 Giboney Ave., was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance.

* Terrance K.D. Hamilton, 20, 1015 Bloomfield St., Apt. 001, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Ricky Scott, 29, 315 S. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* A subject in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

Summonses

* Steven E. Reed, 26, 2800 Pioneer Drive, No. 138, received a summons for a noise violation.

* Robert G. Hale, 52, of Thebes, Ill., received a summons for littering and drinking in public.

* Dana R. Melbourne, 58, 401 S. Pacific St., No. 1, and Bobby J. Masterson, 45, 200 Morgan Oak St., No. 15, received summonses for trespassing.

* Matthew A. Cadwell, 30, 22 N. Park Ave., Apt. A, received a summons for improper placement of waste and failure to prevent trash and litter from spreading.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Theft

* Amerimart, 865 N. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

* Bi-State Southern, 920 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* A laptop was reported stolen at 1830 Stoddard St.

Property damage

* Damage to an OtterBox was reported at 3065 William St.

Miscellaneous

* A 46-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A 72-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported failure to return rental property.
